Somewhat Of A Bust Week... BUT Getting A New Car!

Good evening Beautiful,
It’s Friday night, I’m sitting on the couch, catching up on my blog reading and I decided to post a blog. This may be a short way so just be warned. I don’t think I have ever been more excited for a weekend than I am for this weekend. This week has been busy, it’s been intense, it’s just been a lot and I’m toast. I’m beyond excited to sleep until I want to, and not until an alarm wakes me up. I’m excited to mosey my way to the gym on my own time, and not rush because it’s my lunch break. I’m excited to soak up the sun on the patio in my building that is now open after about 3 weeks of it being closed, and I’m excited to have some drinks with a couple friends tomorrow night and just chat.
Tomorrow will be a fun day because C and I are trading in the car we have now for a brand spanking new one! I’m so excited. I haven’t really been a fan of the car we have now because I don’t like the hatch back look of it. Smoothest ride ever, but I just don’t really like the way it looks (sorry C!). BUT the car we’re getting… drool. It’s so nice, so shiny, so smooth and classy looking. We’re getting the 2012 Acura TL… see photo below J

Granted, it doesn’t have the roof mounted Gatling Gun as the picture shows, and as they use in the Avengers although how sweet would that be. It also doesn't have those rims, it has normal silver rims, less stealth. Isn’t it just a really nice sleek car? I’m so excited… Although the only downfall is I’m going to have to learn how to park the car all over again. We have a condom sized parking spot between a cement wall and a huge cement pillar so parking has never been an easy task. C is a very talented driver and can back in. Myself however, I need to do about an 8-point turn to get the car in straight. No big deal.
I hate to admit it, but this week has been a bust in terms of fitness and partly diet. The two weeks prior to this week I had a 13 day workout streak. Seriously, I participated in some sort of physical activity for at least 1-hour every day for 13 days in a row. It ended the day after Ellen’s wedding, but we don’t need a recap on that. This week though, I’ve taken two “rest days”. I hate rest days because I feel lazy, I feel like my hard work is going down and honestly, it makes me feel gross. My skin isn’t as soft, I don’t feel as refreshed, it just feels… bleh. On top of it, I haven’t been as strict with my paleo diet. One night I ate 12 ten cent candies and rice with dinner. Fail. Today in general I couldn’t stop eating. Granted I did eat all paleo goodness but I ate A LOT. I literally ate an entire quarter watermelon today. I’ve been peeing non-stop… at least I’m well hydrated.
Yesterday I was really tired from being out with Adam and Katie at the Argo’s game and Williams Landing after until 1am. I did muster up the energy to get on a stepper for 45 minutes which provided me with some extra energy, but I did decide to go to bed a bit earlier than normal last night. I slept through the entire night but for some reason woke up with a headache, groggy and felt more tired today than I did yesterday. I decided not to work out today for a couple of different reasons. I honestly did have a ton of work to do and Friday’s are absolutely dead in my office because most corporations don’t do much on Friday afternoons except golf and drink so I got A TON of work done!! I was so productive; I was on a roll and opted out of my workout to continue my productivity role. I also was only working with 1 other person in the office today so I didn’t want to leave her alone in case the phones did get quite busy (which is always a possibility).
I convinced myself that I would for sure run down to my condo gym when I got home from work, but alas I again opted to hang out in bed reading 50 Shades of Grey.  For anyone who has read the book, I know you understand. So I did not work out today. BUT I’m going to wake up before we need to go get the car and get in an intense workout. I promise. Anyone that reads this, please comment and HOLD ME TO THIS! I have also been slacking on the working out front, but I ended that by getting a good (but HARD) run in tonight. Looking forward to hearing about your intense workout tomorrow morning before getting your new car... how exciting!!
